The 'macchia mediterranea' (literally mediterranean spot) is a term referring to all typical plants, usually
shrubs and bushes. Is made of plants as Juniper, Oregano and others. Plants of this kind are able to survive
to very hot summer and a lack of water.
The "macchia mediterranea" is a very distinctive characters of
Cinque Terre. In those pages I have collected some shot on this argument. First picture with cliff covered by green
is the first example.
